Note
Hello readers,
In this edition
of the T.A. News Journal,
we have a variety of articles to interest you, as well
as some exciting news about upcoming events, changes,
and opportunities in the ever-evolving present moment.
First, we decided
for the feature article to give our readers a broader
view of HÜMÜH Buddhism. We
discuss how Buddhism historically came
about,
while showing the thread of the primordial Teachings
that HÜMÜH extracted and
incorporated to make for a pristine living path to
awakening. In addition, there is a general letter on the
invaluable practice of Living Meditation as a means to
view the light of divinity in all life.
Our ‘Spiritual Practice’ column is a
good companion article to our main feature. It explains
that in order to live spiritually, fully in the present
moment, our every action must be purposeful. If we ‘tune
out’ and just go through the motions, we can become
subservient to living life as a series of empty rituals
that can make us feel stuck.
The ‘Relationships’ column addresses
the value of being impeccable in how we relate to others
in order to bring happiness and clarity to our lives.
In our ‘Health’ column, Dr. Clibon
addresses the spiritual principle of balance relative to
our health, through learning how to keep our bodies in
equanimity with pH balance.
Also, be sure to checkout the ‘Movies
to Learn From’ and ‘Experience’ articles. Along with our movie
review, we suggest other highly recommended films with
valuable lessons. The personal experience story also
shares insight from someone who learns about letting go
as a means to have a more open heart.
In other news,
HÜMÜH is expanding its presence south of the border in
Oroville,
Washington,
with the new
HÜMÜH Meditation
Center
to help people learn more about bringing the light of
divinity into their lives.
As for the
Journal
itself, there are a couple new additions, too. There is
now a
Letters to the Editors
section which we encourage readers to make use of to
give us feedback about the
Journal. And, for people
who would like to share
Journal
articles they found
thought-provoking, there is now an online version of the T.A. News Journal,
www.humuhbuddhistjournal.org,
which will have all of the articles archived. Enjoy.
